About the Dojo

Okinawa kōburyū karatedō and kobudō sessions meet at Southside Dojo. The facility features hardwood floors for perfect balance but with shock-absorbing construction for joint health. There is also an extensive matted area for throwing and grappling.

Southside Dojo includes other martial arts styles including aikidō, kendō, jujutsu, arnis and l’arte d’armizare (a European martial art).  While we hope that you will join us in practicing Okinawa Kōburyū karatedō and/or kobudō, feel free to explore the other options available.
