Seiken

Seiken (正拳) means “regular fist.” The fist contacts with the first two knuckles of the fist firmly supported by the radius, the strongest bone of the forearm. Seiken was an Okinawan innovation. It is easier and safer for beginners and can be used against more targets than shōken, but it is not as penetrating.
